I can totally relate, tests tell me that I'm an INTP as well, but I know that's simply not true.

I'm an Enneagram 8 too, I think that's what causes us to be more outwardly emotional than your typical detached type 5 INTJ.

I voted INTJ becuase from what I've read, that's the impression that I've gotten.

Useless posts are my language, and I am sooo happy that there are moving emoticons here, and that I'm not restricted to four, I hold back as much as I can so I don't piss too many smillie bashers off but gosh I love em!

Interesting, I don't know much about the different enneagrams but now that you mention it I do notice a difference between 5s and 8s, that may explain why I don't feel as though I can relate to a lot of INTJs. Thanks for your perspective.

I think most of the people on INTJf are 5s and 6s -- which is why I sometimes get fed up with the atmosphere, I think.

I don't know you too well but I'm not ruling out INTJ yet.

If plenty of INTJ's are SJ's in denial.. you are not one of them.

I haven't read many of your posts but I definitely think you're INTJ or INFJ.

INTJs aren't without feeling. The ones that claim to be are probably a bit off. I think Trinity is really well rounded and balanced. Most likely, INTJ.

I'm thinking Metal was on to something here, am I right in suggesting 5s can take life more seriously as they highly value knowledge?

I enjoy INTJf for the people but I very rarely read any serious threads, in fact I have a bunch of the sub-forums hidden cause I just can't go there. I also really struggle to stay on topic but as that is the respected culture of the forum I usually hang in the lounge so as to not shit people.

Nice, thanks. I certain I’m a combination of INTsomething. I don’t understand Ni/Ne/Ti/Te enough though. And INTJs have emotions as well, they just don't freely show them most of the time.

Yah, I haven't posted here much yet, which is why it's cool to see the perspectives people have. I’ve started a similar thread at INTJf, where I post a lot and interestingly "buggered it I know" is in the lead followed by “INTJ” then “INTP” with a couple suggesting ENTP... *shrug* guess that’s what happens when you provide the option of non-committal

Enneagram 5 is mostly your stereotypical ubernerds, especially 5w6... which I think most of the people on INTJf are, with a healthy does of 5w4. I think 5s are more serious than 9s, but not necessarily more serious than 8s. (Umm, for the record, I think I'm an 8w9).

I don't go in most of the subforums anymore because I was sick of the whiny tone in a lot of the threads. I mostly hang out in the MBTI specific subforum to give out information and then spend the rest of my time in the lounge. I like the games. ^_^

I can usually stay on topic but... well, the tone. I just don't like it.
