I agree--a collection of links would be useful. I've been scratching my head over management of such a collection for a few months (I figured it was an inevitability).

If you have relevant links you'd like to add, please contribute to this thread.

The community discussion about the format and compiling of this collection has been moved to the Feedback sub-forum. If you would like to add to that discussion, please contribute in that thread.

What's wrong with Do What You Are? Why is it in the mediocre category? I think it explains the functions and temperaments better and less stereotypically than Keirsey's Please Understand Me II.

Hey Haight, yeah - I haven't been around in a while.

I closed down my startup (after 4 years) a few months ago and I've been scrambling to figure out what to do next with my life. I think hanging out on mbti forums, reading magazines, getting drunk and watching movies will have to suffice for a while or until my funds run out.

Probably because it's a basic text for newcomers to MBTI but doesn't deal with much of the nuance or more complicated function use and such as what we discuss here.

That is not to say it's not useful -- I think the Tiegers' texts serve very well for MBTI beginners and are very easy to understand. They did a lot to popularize MBTI and I would recommend them to people who are just starting out.
