As I understand it, it's basically just so no one can vote for their own team while also not requiring them to vote for another team.

The other purpose was to spice it up a bit with some reality TV style intrigue. Which teams are voting? Who are they voting for? Tune in and see!

there's gotta be a better way to get people more involved. a lot of work goes into these challenges and if reg peeps aren't tuning in then it's just not inspiring. The Gauntlet needs good PR badly. Where's whatever when we need her?
