Hmm, I don't know what to say to that.
Why should I care? I don't mean that in a horrible way, it's without attitude. If I had to go through an entire week without one abstract discussion, I don't know if that would bother me. It probably won't. Then again, I must enjoy it on some level if I'm here so often, even though I don't get everything.
And seriously, I could post on abstract and complex things till I'm blue in the face and actually make zero contribution or sense and just be making a fool of myself. I'm not fishing for compliments.

Yeah it's not necessarily a bad thing at all that you don't have the strong urge for intellectualism and abstraction. How often do you think or ponder deeper subjects in your head though? Not counting actual discussion. Just wondering.

I certainly really like your posting and your point of view and humor are often refreshing. You're not making a fool of yourself in any of the threads....er...um..maybe the religion threads..jk.

Unless it dies out. I hope it doesn't.

Why is abstraction necessarily "intellectualism"?

Developing wild connections between marginally-related items (some of the points offered above by others) really isn't anything more than fictive science-speak...

I am glad to hear that. But you are not very S aren't you?

The point of my reply was that our lives literally depend on things we can't sense but they exist for sure since we can use them and we are using them.

I as for the part about hurt feeling I know that since I do that to other people all the time. (but with good intentions)

Well, if you put it like that....I certainly don't think my head is filled with bubblegum and candy-floss. But to me deeper issues are often spiritual stuff and to someone else who doesn't believe in God and what not, that might not qualify.

And, thank you. kissesaloveryouface

Oh, I wasn't trying to use them synonymously.
