He's definitely a Feeler and Perceiver- just take a look at how he is with Garfield.
If he was an ISTJ, he wouldn't even bother with Garfield.

Odie - ISFP. Garfield - ESTP. Jon - I'm going to say "IN...."something. We never get a look at what he does for a living or his life outside his relationship with his pets and their vet, but if he worked at Dilbert's workplace, I can see the two of them having coffee together.
