NFs! List your 3 favourite comedy shows!
Or 3 favourite comedians!
Or just explain what makes you laugh...
TV, no particular order...
1. The Simpsons
2. The Daily Show
3. Family Guy

1. South Park
2. Aqua Teen Hunger Force
3. Mad TV
First 2 I have to watch at night. Something about being tired and delirious makes both the shows insanely funny. As for Mad TV its pretty hit or miss with me, but when they make me laugh I laugh HARD.

Cheers (until Diane left)
Wonder Showzen (I prefer Season 2 to Season 1)
Xavier: Renegade Angel
I don't really watch television because I can't concentrate, but these are shows that are scattered enough to give me something to think about when I watch them.

3: Bob Saget
In that order.

Dynamite Ninja posting 16 more fictional characters in the next two days and asking what type they are. It would be pretty funny, you have to admit.
"C'mon now, is Frankenstein really an INTJ ? Oh, you thought I meant the monster ? LOL. No, I meant the scientist !! What about Treasure Island ? No, I don't mean Long John Silver . I mean like, the island itself, I mean it would be a different kind of island with havin' some treasure on it, wouldn't it ? Or what about Ben Gunn ? Old Blind Pew ? Would Pew or Long John be different types without their handicaps ? ?"
" Are there cave men in heaven, guys ? "

I don't know. I wasn't speaking of the past - but about 16 more in the near future ! Say you'll do it. Say you will.
I didn't think you'd do the "rock group types" when I imagined that and boy did you ever prove me wrong.
What's next DN ? :banana2:

Well if you thought of the band types before I did, maybe you have a few more predictions of what I'll do that you can tell me about- I'm looking for some more ideas. ;)

What about types of electricity ? AC vs. DC. Ball lightning versus heat lightning versus the usual jagged bolts everyone is familiar with ?
I tried to post what you'd want in the pizza thread, too.

It was up for quite a while on the "new posts" page. I'm continually surprised by the fact that many people don't use that function.
I don't watch much TV, and it usually isn't comedies when I do.
But when it comes to humour people often compare me to people who are ENTP's. i think I can sort of masquerade as an ENTP when I so choose. I have a diverse sense of humour, I think, for the most part, but I usually enjoy absurd/outlandish tomfoolery humour, subtle humour, sexual humour, and morbid humour the most. I also like analyzing the different characters in a comedy to see how they complement eachother and what makes it funny. I take it too far, soemtime sI don't laugh, I just think about why it is funny.

Good Neighbors (an old BBC comedy)
Arrested Development
Daily Show
Hard to think of current shows...too many are just slapstick, no humor based on character...

Seriously nothing on telivision has really made me laugh since the Chappelle show went off the air.
Family Guy used to, but now it just doesn't do it for me anymore.

1. Colbert Report (i cant believe daily show is getting the nod here by most of you! ...Jon IS less 'annoying' and is a better in totallity show....but i really dont get belly laughs like i get from colbert. It truly is a better written show hands down and their emmy for writing is deserved)
2. Robot Chicken (it makes the randomness of family guy look like a devoid of random digital clock)
3. Jim McGaffigan - its funny because its all 99% true
4. Leslie Nielson .... dead pan humor is one of my favorites.
"dont call me shurely"

Oh don't get me wrong, I love the show and I love his persona and I think he's hilarious. It's just not in my top three. It's not a show that makes me haul my work from one room into another so I can watch it.
3. Jim Gaffigan - its funny because its all 99% true
Word. :) I'd forgotten him. I love his high-pitched "this is what other people are thinking" voices.

Chappelle Show and The Boondocks. And The Hills. Those are some funny folks. I don't really watch TV so I'm not with it anymore.
I think people on the street being silly are the funniest. Homeless people are the best. Am I bad because I really enjoy funny homeless people?? Yesterday I was driving down the street and this man was running around with a Redskins flag yelling and screaming. He seemed like he was having fun so I enjoyed his good time. I guess I prefer people being unscripted and funny.
