View Full Version : Your sound
If you could pick a band or two that would equal you in sound-wave form who would that/those band/s be? Not really basing your decision on lyrics necessarily, but more so just on the sound. Who really sticks out and says "YOU" all over it?

I still like this.
Robin Alciatore – Venetian Gondola Song (Mendelssohn) – Listen free at Last.fm (http://www.last.fm/music/Robin+Alciatore/Short+Stories/Venetian+Gondola+Song+%28Mendelssohn%29)
(to d/l (http://freedownloads.last.fm/download/52128355/Venetian%2BGondola%2BSong.mp3))
It's got the bad stuff in there, too.

The Cure.
Oddly, I don't like The Cure.
Metrical and relentless; not offensive or violent, but neither lyrical nor laid back.
Steve Reich (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuJCp9wsaj8). When I'm pushing to get things done, maybe Nitzer Ebb arranged for orchestra?

E Nomine - Das Tier In Mir (Wolfen)
E Nomine - Das Boese
I relate very much to Slug's lyrics in certain Atmosphere songs. I think he's INFJ as well. He seems to view people/interact with people in a similar way.
In terms of music, though...hmmm....maybe melodic parts of Opeth songs?
