I'm Jen, learned about the MBTI a good 8 years ago or so. Fell in love with it (since I discovered I wasn't strange--just not very common). I'm married to an INTJ, we've been together for six years now. We have four kitties, 2 cockatoos, and an African Grey.
My current personality challenge is how to survive as an INFJ in a career of mostly STJs. :rolli: (Not sure what I was thinking, but about to lose my mind!)
Looking forward to getting to know all of you better!
Hugs,
Jen

Welcome, Sophie. There are lots of useful discussions and anecdotes on these forums. And oh, good luck at work! :alttongue:

Easy. Becoming an INTJ for a day and take over, or at least from behind the scenes with strategic planning/manipulation:devil:
Jokes aside, have to sometimes actually be "manipulative" with STJ's as they gotta be the one that makes the decision.

You are right. She told me flat out 2 weeks ago that she wants and expects me to argue with her. (Even in office meetings.) She wants me to challenge everything she says. That's easier said than done, especially when it seems there have been lies spread about you, conversations that never took place... and her opinion of one is as capricious as her moods. :(
Not to mention the toll it takes on my emotions...

Haha! I have another good friend who is INFJ married to an INTJ. Despite the NF-NT death spiral belief, it seems to be a popular matching!

My experience tells another story. :(

Absolutely true...Sensors in general require "steering"...don't make the "steering" too obvious or they will get "spooked" and then may have an anti-intuitive torch waving mob on your hands
