I had to answer "yes" on some of the dreaded "aggressiveness" questions because they were about standing up for my values. I'm not aggressive, but I'm not a coward. I would have done better on the "calmness" scores except for the tendency to be emotionally affected by the negativity of others, which has more to do with my hypersensitivity than with whether I am mellow. My friends see me as meek, quiet and easygoing. I have no idea how I scored so highly on "detachment," unless it simply means that I am a non-conformist. I make my own rules, but I'm not "detached," at least by my definition of the word. It sounds so impersonal. As for the "image focus" category, I only answered some of those questions in a positive way because I want people to feel comfortable around me and to see me as nice. I don't care at all about image except when it means that I am better able to put others at ease.

Eh, I definitely like the MBTI profiles better. I mean, there are definitely elements of that "type 7" description that fit me, but other stuff that's definitely not true. For instance, the part about always making plans for the future. That's definitely not me. And some other stuff, I dunno, I forgot already. Plus the list of famous people of the type was kinda lame, because those people are all over the map. It seems much more random than MBTI to me.

Actually, before I took the test my supervisor came by an asked me if things were ok. He also commented that I've been quiet today. I took a look at my IMs to him and other people and it seems I'm down to about 25% of my usual. I then took notice of myself and I do actually feel a little tired so the detatchment score really didn't surprise me, but it was interesting.

If you really want to read my full score right, though; take a look at 1 and 2 as opposed to 7 and 8. That's the indication that I really am still a 4.
