Hey y'all out there on the interwebs. I figured I should give a little introduction.

I'm a 19 year old student at the University of Mississippi that originally is from Mobile in the great state of Alabama. Realize by great, I mean kinda crappy, but it's home damn it! I currently live in Baton Rouge, La when not in school. Just taking a tour of all the great places the deep south has to offer I guess. Anyway, I started reading about personality types out of a desire for a little self improvement, and of course it's interesting! So yeah, I ended up here and felt like joining the discussion.

Erm...so, citizens of MBTICentral, I look forward to getting to know you the way you only can over the internet.

That's cool, I lived in England for a year when I was a lot younger. Up in West Yorkshire. I haven't been back since, but really want to. I miss the countryside, it was just beautiful.

Also yeah, I would think we're named after your Oxford. I can't fathom anywhere wanting to name their town after Oxford, MS. Maybe someone does, but they probably shouldn't be trying to run a town anyway.

It's from an SNL skit, and it was on my mind when I registered. I suck at thinking of a good name, and it jumped out at me.

It's a mixed bag, as with everything ya know. Really most things are better here, but the roads. Louisiana seems to take pride in crappy road design and poor civil engineering. I'm actually starting to think there's some genius behind it though. The state troopers around here have to love it. Damn money hungry traffic cops, trying to ruin my buzz of pulling 100. Bastards!

True, the roads are bad; partly due to famously bad government, and partly because of the redonkulously heavy rainfall South Louisiana gets.

But the food makes up for it I tell ya! :)

No doubt about that. I work over the summer in a little town on the river (just a lil SE of Baton Rouge) and there's this little cajun place like five miles down the road. Some of the best food I've ever eaten. I could live off crawfish alone...mmmmmmmmm

Don't blame the rain either, it's our lovely government. Baton Rouge is such a clusterfrick (eh, horray for sensoring myself) it isn't funny. It could be the worst designed city in terms of roads I've ever been in. We have more traffic problems than cities twice our size. I'm sure though, it ain't as bad at Atlanta at 5 in the afternoon.
