I believe most of you here know about MBTI.

So I think I am not gonna confuse you. There are lots of differences between ENTP and ENTJ even it looks like only one letter at the end is different.

ENTPs use Extraverted Intuition and Introverted Thinking. While, ENTJs use extraverted Thinking and Introverted Intuition.

You know, we talk inside ourselves, that is something similar to introverted thinking. We ENTPs do that a lot. And when we talk inside, all most all the time we talk about "in what way they relate" to us from our perspective.

Anyone can "Think" but the way we think is what matters.

Let say, your dad bought you a new Ferrari.

If you are an ENTP, you will think like "I am gonna drive this car, iam gonna love it, i am gonna drive it to my school and show off. Everyone will respect me, envy me. I will race. Driving experience is gonna be great... Isn't it one of the best car, I should do a research about it...man Ferrari is the best, best in the world" You can clearly see that this thinking is somewhat similar to day dreaming even if the car is outside parked.

ENTJs are different. Extraverted thinking is not like day dreaming. It only starts when the actual object is in sight. And the thinking is not about car or you but about what could this combination (car and you) do.

I am not sure about this but I try. ENTJ would think "okay here is the car. It's one of the great cars so I won't have any problems down the road. It's gonna be mine so if my dad kicks me out or something, I could always sell and make money. So I should make sure it is mine. The car is Respect, everyone should respect me. I might have problems with cops, who may think I speeded even when i am not. And hell this is gonna be fast so I'll be the first one to leave when green changes to red"

So I am not saying it's impossible to go from ENTP to ENTJ or vice versa. What I am saying is, it takes a huge difference in thinking and activities to go from one to another.

Even though we try to develop other functions, when we are excited, we will always use our dominant functions. That is, an ENTP will use Extraverted Intuition and Introverted Thinking and an ENTJ will use Extraverted Thinking and Introverted Intuition.

If I am wrong, Please, correct me.
