i'd say wanting to help someone can definitely be reduced to cognitive functions.
Fe could do it if there was a social reason
Te could do it if it was efficient
Fi could ask Ne to brainstorm for someone else
Ti probably wouldn't care
i mean, you can't just take the fact that someone helps others and directly deduce which functions they're using. but that doesn't mean they're not using functions.
